Our certified job coaches provide one-on-one support, helping individuals navigate the job search process, prepare for interviews, and develop essential workplace skills. Job coaches provide support within the workplace to create a routine, connect with coworkers, guide through job tasks and responsibilities, identify accommodations and set job goals.

Avatar offers continued support even after job placement, ensuring clients have access to resources and guidance as they adapt to their new roles. This includes regular workplace check-ins and support with any workplace challenges that may arise.

  • Meet Michael, he is been employed at RWP Zoo since 2021, as a seasonal employee, in the building grounds and maintenance department. Michael typically works April through November and is responsible for the upkeep of the zoo grounds and administrative offices.

    Michael is an independent on the job and currently receives retention services through supported employment. With the natural support of his supervisor, Dave and his team, Michael has been successful in this position learning new things each year.
